My Goals

1. Think Different. Medicine is steeped in tradition. "I was trained that way, it worked then, it will work now." Unfortunately, the old tried and true is not always best or right. In this new age of rapid advance, we must think anew and act anew.

   How to "think different":

   • Is this the right way based on today's knowledge and experience?
   • Is there something better, simpler, easier, less costly?
   • Is there an easier, less invasive method or treatment that's just as effective?

2. Perfect Communication. To achieve maximal communication is something to PERFECT. To listen and observe, to hear the spoken word and also read between the lines-all are paramount to good communication.

3. The Cutting Edge. Seeking the best of what's new is a challenge. Any new treatment has to make sense based on current knowledge and past history. All too often we try to reinvent the wheel. Without knowledge of history we only repeat past mistakes.
